New Admin Building

The New Admin Building serves as the central hub for MEPZ’s management and administrative functions. Custom Building


The Customs Building at MEPZ facilitates smooth import and export processing, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. Staffed by experienced customs officials, the facility provides fast and efficient clearance services, helping businesses optimize their supply chain operations. 

 

Freedom Plaza

 Freedom Plaza is a state-of-the-art open-air theater with a seating capacity of 3,000, designed to host large gatherings, celebrations, award functions, and other events. Equipped with modern amenities, it provides a well-structured venue for corporate and cultural activities. Units can book the facility as needed, ensuring a seamless experience for hosting events.

Trade Facilitation Center

The Trade Facilitation Centre at MEPZ SEZ offers state-of-the-art amenities, including:

  • A 1,200-seat auditorium for large events and gatherings.
  • A conference hall and boardrooms for business meetings and discussions.
  • An incubation center to support startups and new business ventures.
  • A tennis court for recreational activities.
  • A food court catering to diverse dining needs.

New Canteen Building

A new canteen has been constructed to cater to the 36,000 employees working inside MEPZ SEZ, addressing the long-standing need for an executive canteen. This facility provides a comfortable space for employees, visitors, and delegates to enjoy meals, coffee, and tea. Designed with modern amenities, the canteen ensures a high-quality dining experience in a well-equipped environment

Wastewater Management

MEPZ (Madras Export Processing Zone) follows a structured and sustainable approach to wastewater management. Equipped with modern Effluent Treatment Plants (ETPs) and Sewage Treatment Plants (STPs), the facility ensures the proper treatment and recycling of wastewater. The treated water is repurposed for landscaping and non-potable uses, minimizing environmental impact. MEPZ strictly adheres to environmental norms, promoting eco-friendly operations while supporting industrial sustainability.

Mobility, Access, Parking & Surveillance (MAPS):

The MAPS system ensures 24×7 smart access to MEPZ SEZ with advanced security and mobility solutions. Key features include:

  • 254 smart poles equipped with cameras, Wi-Fi, lights, and display boards for real-time monitoring and communication.
  • Smart surveillance across the SEZ, enhancing security and ensuring the safety of women employees.
  • Smart parking management to prevent unauthorized parking on roads and improve traffic flow within the SEZ.

Comprehensive Waste Management

MEPZ SEZ has implemented a comprehensive waste management system with the goal of achieving zero carbon emissions within the zone. Key initiatives include:

  • Exclusive use of electric vehicles (E-Vehicles) for waste collection, reducing carbon footprint.
  • A structured waste segregation and disposal system to promote sustainability.
